ENCOURAGE YOUR TEAM
How much do you encourage your team? How much are you giving them positive feedback? How specific are you with your team? As we work towards excellence, the majority of the feedback we give our team could be just about things they need to do differently or change. It is said that for every negative statement, a person needs 7 positive statements. “Good job, team” isn’t encouraging. It’s too generic. Don’t give vanilla feedback. Give specific feedback. Tell your team what they are doing well and why it matters. Taking the extra time to sow into your team will never return void. It will always bear fruit!
