Male & Female

MALE & FEMALE

by Keith Tucci

NRP Apostolic Team Leader

Hopefully, as I write to you, you have been made aware of the “equality act.” It is the vilest piece of legislation ever presented. It is dehumanizing because it destroys the sacred stamp of our Creator on humankind. He made us male and female, and He glories in that intentional distinction--as should we. I am a firm believer that as we manifest His heart and pursue His Kingdom, those distinctions are celebrated and enhanced, and that part of our culture and message of our churches is that we celebrate this without any trepidation. It exalts our Creator and is a platform for salvation as men and women see themselves as He created them to be.

Not only does this legislation give people the “right” to mutilate their body, it compels all social, civic, medical, and education systems to not only accept this assault on gender, but to agree and empower it. This camel is not merely sticking its nose under the tent of the church, but is pushing through the front doors. Those who refuse to support such ideas will be penalized for a plethora of rights violations.

We are living in the day of Isaiah 5:20, Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!

Now, more than ever, there must be a clarity of the gospel. We are made in God’s image, not He in ours. We are hopelessly lost and wicked. Our arrogance is appalling, as is our filthy works and self-righteousness. We are all sinners who must be born again. No exceptions!

We must see this as an attack-- not against us, but a slap in our Creator’s face. We must see the legislation as an act of treason against all sound judgment and an assault on the Church. We must take a step back and consider our own responsibility in contributing to the lack of distinction and honor between the sexes. We should examine our practices to see if we encourage men and women to celebrate the glorious distinctions imprinted on them by their Master and Lord. We need to consider the roles that demonstrate the uniqueness that are inbreed in men and women. They are not merely traditional, but God- breathed into our hearts.

And lastly, we must resist at every level. Already, about half the states are putting together their own legislation that would, among other things, stop males who are pretending to be females from competing in women’s athletics, which is the tip of the proverbial iceberg. That means, at the local level (school boards, etc), they will hear our voice and see our face. If calling evil good and good evil is, in fact, wicked, what is it called when we are silent? The answer is abdication--agreement by silence.
